Real Show Dogs Part Deux

Real show dogs have it made. Really, there is no better life for a dog that I've ever found. First, they get to be outside all day.

They have their people very well trained. Many carry them about...

They also get to ride in carts with the wind in their faces...
Or nap if they prefer...

But of course they're always free to get up and check things out...
Like seven week old mastiff puppies for sale...
Or Daschund puppies...

But maybe the best thing is getting to walk yourself anywhere you want to go anytime.
Real show dogs always have a smile on their face. This is Sister, she's eight years old.
Walks can always be interrupted for a wrestling match here and there...
Yeah, you'd be hard pressed to find happier dogs.
This guy's collar said Marley but we called him spook. He was huge but afraid of everyone. He must be new. I'm sure he'll figure it out soon enough.

IT'S SHOW TIME!

YAY! Day one of the show. Sarah strikes a Michael pose. Thumbs up for Pop! Click on the photos for a larger view.
Going to the ring.

Moe power napped in the cross ties.
Ann Gayle outdid herself with the Autumn decor at the barn.

Hanging out at the barn with Sarah, Annie and Jojo... one of my favorite pass times.

Pokey looking for treats...
It's going to be a busy couple of weeks but it'll be fun. I've already seen tons of cool dogs for a Real Show Dogs part deux. Stay tuned!

The Basement Band

The Basement Band. Michael, Ian, Ben and Zack. Featuring Sammie as stage dancer.

Be sure to check your volume before hitting play (you might want to turn it down a notch). Sorry for the poor vocal sound, Michael needs a new PA system and a damper for the drums.

O-lay! - O-lay O-lay O-lay!

Congratulations Team Europe!
This week's schedule has been hectic; I haven't had much time to post so I'm a little behind the times... Last weekend was the annual Nashville Ryder Cup. Who won? Europe of course!
Here's the winning team in all their glory!
The afters was a blast. I didn't get many photos though, my camera battery died too early. Shame, I could have had good video of Mike dancing the night away.

The event organizer, Damien and his lovely wife.
Champion's toast...
A very good time was had by all...
