I Just Realized!

First of all, thank you to Susu Raymond who always takes great shots of Sarah at the shows. And yes, you win the tail debate Susu - from now on the tail gets braided.
I was just looking through these and came to a realization... Sarah no longer sticks her tongue out when she jumps! I know, it sounds like a silly thing but we really never thought it would happen.
Love ya Sari xx

Dog Prix

Grand Prix always inspire Dog Prix later in the day.
Not to worry, they love to do it and get loads of treats.

Perfect form.

Look at that great tuck.

Real Show Dogs

This tiny creature attempted to attack any other dog that came within 5 feet of it. I know someone with a very similar disposition, he doesn't get to go to horse shows.
We see this one at almost every show. I need to get a video as it's best viewed in action for full effect. Cutie for sure.
These two are so cute.
This little guy, he's so sweet and just the weirdest mix, in a good way.
He always reminds me of a movie dog.
The white feet and black claws are are an especially nice touch.

Grand Prix

The finale to a great two weeks of shows.
We're already looking forward to the May shows.
Sarah took tons of shots, these are just a few.
She took all of them with her Sony Cybershot. It takes a pretty good action shot.
Richard Rinehart on Hobby during their first clear round.
Vicki

Kim Burnette-Mitchell always cuts a gorgeous course.

Love it!
Congratulations to Richard and Hobby on their win this weekend.
Sarah tried to get a photo of Hobby's golden eyes.

Training

Back in the saddle again... Waiting for the ring to be prepped.
Mmmmm... tasty cart.
Cute little creature seen along the way.
I think it might have been a dog...

This Weekend's show.

This post is kind of all over the place in timeline.
The first two photos are from the downpour, Classic rounds on Sunday. After all the rounds they decided to combine the scores from the 12-14 & 15-17 classes. Sarah should have had a fourth but she ended up with a tenth. Pretty good since this is her first show at 3ft and she's only 12.

This is from that first place over fences Equitation class on Saturday.
Sunday was miserable, it poured rain all through Sarah's classes. She still managed to do well. We all went back to the barn completely soaked. It was like someone had turned a hose on us. This coming weekend is supposed to be perfectly sunny! Yay!
It's embarrassing having the only mom who takes photos outside the ring.
Frankie wasn't very impressed with the weather as he waited for his turn with Catherine in the short stirrup ring.

It's Show Time!

Show season started for us today. We haven't travelled around for the Spring shows. Sarah and Moe did very well today.

Here's a video...
